Visa Services
The Consular Section provides a variety of services to Americans resident in Mozambique and the issuance of visas for temporary travel to the United States. The Embassy is open from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Thursday and 7:30 am to 11:30 am on Friday. Requests for information or appointments can be placed during these hours at telephone +258 (21) 492-797 or by e-mail at consularmaputo@state.gov. American citizens requiring emergency services after hours, on weekend, or on holidays, should call +258 (21) 490-723.
