Scam Alert

It has come to the attention of Embassy security that some people have received threatening cell phone calls.  The caller states that he has received some money to kill the recipient of the call.  However, the caller then states that he does not want to perform this act and if the recipient will pay a greater amount of money than what was supposedly given to the caller, the caller will not kill the recipient.  This is just a scam.  If you receive this type of call hang up and do not respond if the caller attempts to contact you again.
