PEPFAR

The President’s Emergency Plan For AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) is the largest commitment ever by a single national toward an international health initiative – a 5-year, $15 billion, multifaceted approach to combating the disease in more than 120 countries around the world, including 15 focus countries, of which Mozambique is one. Last year, Mozambique received $162 million in PEPFAR funds.
