Public Affairs Section

The Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in Maputo undertakes informational, cultural and educational activities designed to promote understanding of U.S. foreign policy and society. It acts as the public affairs arm of the U.S. Embassy in Maputo, and places special emphasis on democracy, media, human rights and economic issues. The Press and Culture maintains a state-of-the-art Information Resource Center at its facilities. The Public Affairs Office is located 2 kilometers from the main Embassy building and maintains a state-of-the-art Information Resource Center at its facilities.
