Emergency Appointments

Write to the consular section at consularmaputo@state.gov and explain the nature of the family or medical emergency, or urgent business travel.  Family or medical emergencies, unexpected conference attendance or urgent business meetings may qualify for expedited service.  Please provide a letter or other documentation from a U.S. based medical practitioner or business partner to support the urgency of the request.
